Otto Junker Award 2024

Award for outstanding academic achievements - Otto Junker Prizes 2024 awarded at RWTH Aachen University
Daniel Baggen, Moritz Diewald, Gerrit Ipers and Jan Krusenbaum received the Otto Junker Prize 2024 on November 13th for their outstanding academic achievements. This award is given annually by the Otto Junker Foundation to RWTH graduates of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology as well as the Materials Science and Materials Engineering Department in the Faculty of Georesources and Materials Engineering.
The Otto Junker Foundation was founded in 1970 by Dr.-Ing. E.h. Otto Junker launched. As a former RWTH graduate, he always felt connected to the university and, as an entrepreneur, continued to value scientific exchange. The aim of the foundation is to support young scientists and to promote numerous individual projects. Udo vom Berg, board member of the Otto Junker Foundation and chairman of the supervisory board of Otto Junker GmbH, as well as RWTH Rector Ulrich Rüdiger presented the awards at a ceremony. Together with Professor Emeritus. Wolfgang Bleck, Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Otto Junker Foundation, congratulated the award winners.
